Ridge Creek Farms
Hi, my name is Michelle Clark and along with husband Ronny Clark, we have built Ridge Creek Farms into a local landmark.
Ronny has been involved with gaited horses since his boyhood in Louisiana and has been shoeing them for over 30 years.
Combining my love of raising foals and teaching kids to ride, with Ronny's passion for training and showing the Tennessee Walker, Ridge Creek Farms has grown into a full service breeding and training barn.
We stand three of our own stallions, and raise quality, gaited foals out of our outstanding line of broodmares.
Many of my students end up purchasing one of our foals once they experience the joy of riding and caring for a Tennessee Walker. Several of our "kids" can be seen racing around barrels with the local 4-H clubs or building and maintaining trails with the local Back Country Horseman club.
Our Walkers are an ambassador to the versatility of this wonderful breed.
My lesson customers range in age from three years old up to seventy! I give private lessons on one of my horses and will start you in the year-round indoor arena. When I feel you are ready, we go out on trail rides that include large water crossings and beautiful scenic forest rides.
We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.
